This year marks the 9th annual KIT International Week! We will be offering a variety of useful information and fun events for students interested in studying abroad and for international students currently studying at KIT.
We are planning to hold most of the events online, but on-site events will also be on offer at the venue where we have taken measures to prevent COVID-19 spread.
There is no need to pay a fee to attend, so join in on everything you can.

Although most of the study abroad programs have been cancelled due to COVID-19, we will provide information on what you can do NOW and how to consult the International Affairs office about studying abroad.

of the program, but we will discuss some common examples during the event.
KIT has a variety of scholarship programs for studying abroad, and many of
our students have used these scholarships to study abroad.

If you have always wanted to work internationally and want to hear what it’s like, from someone who has “been there,” this is a must-see!
Lecturers will talk about the realities of working outside Japan. “How do you overcome the language and cultural barriers? What language do you actually use while you are working? What should I do to prepare while I’m still in college?” Learning from the perspectives of people with first-hand company experience can change your “present.”

KIT has more than 100 overseas partner universities, 77 of which have agreements that allow students to study abroad. (As of April 1, 2021)

In this event, we will tell you about two universities, Chiang Mai University in Thailand and LAB University of Applied Sciences in Finland. In recent years, machine translation has become more and more accurate, but it is still not always possible to get a correct translation by just leaving it to the machine. In this seminar, we will discuss how to make good use of machine translation, and whether it is better to use it from Japanese or English when using it for a language you are not familiar with. This time, we will try it with Thai.
