JASSO Follow-up Research Fellowship

This program provides former international students who play active roles in education, research and government in their home countries an opportunity to conduct short term research in universities in Japan. Former international students of Japanese universities from Asia, Central and South America, the Middle East and Africa are eligible to apply. If you are an eligible, former KIT international student with an interest in short term research at KIT, please contact your former supervisor at KIT. JASSO Follow-up Research Guidance

This program provides Japanese academic advisors a chance to observe and participate in furthering the research of former international students who are teaching and/or researching at universities or research institutes in their home countries. Eligible countries and regions are limited to Asian countries and regions. If you are an eligible, former KIT international student and are interested in inviting a KIT professor to your lab/studio, please contact your former supervisor or someone from your KIT division. JSPS Ronpaku (Dissertation PhD) Program

This program provides tutorial and financial support for promising researchers who are currently full-time researchers in universities or academic research institutes in Asia, who wish to obtain their Ph.D. degrees from Japanese universities through the submission of a dissertation without completing doctoral Program coursework. If you are an eligible, former KIT international student and have an interest in completing a Dissertation PhD, please contact your former supervisor at KIT.
