In October and November, we held a joint architecture workshop with our partner university, TH K?ln – Technology, Arts, Sciences, in Kyoto and Cologne respectively. This is a two-way student exchange program that has been conducted almost every year since 2014.

Kyoto and Cologne are sister cities and this project has been of great interest to both. In October this year, KIT received from Kyoto City a ��Special Commendation for the 60th Anniversary of the Kyoto-Cologne Sister City Affiliation��. In November, the opening ceremony of the workshop in Cologne was held at the Cologne City Hall, where the Deputy Mayor of Cologne gave a welcome speech.

Through this project, KIT will continue to contribute not only to the education of students from both universities and to the academic exchange between the universities, but also to the deepening of friendly relations between the two cities.
